✧ Slaughtering before Stoning

أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ عَنْ قَيْسِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ عَنْ عَطَاءٍ عَنْ جَابِرٍ أَنَّ رَجُلًا قَالَ

يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ ذَبَحْتُ قَبْلَ أَنْ أَرْمِيَ قَالَ «ارْمِ وَلَا حَرَجَ» وَقَالَ آخَرُ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ حَلَقْتُ قَبْلَ أَنْ أَذْبَحَ قَالَ «اذْبَحْ وَلَا حَرَجَ» قَالَ آخَرُ طُفْتُ بِالْبَيْتِ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ قَبْلَ أَنْ أَذْبَحَ قَالَ «اذْبَحْ وَلَا حَرَجَ»

✧ A man said: “O Messenger of Allah, I slaughtered before I stoned.” He said: “Stone, and there is no harm.” Another said: “O Messenger of Allah, I shaved before I slaughtered.” He said: “Slaughter, and there is no harm.” Another said: “O Messenger of Allah, I circumambulated the House before I slaughtered.” He said: “Slaughter, and there is no harm.”
