أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الزُّهْرِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ عُرْوَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ
أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ أُسَامَةَ يَسْأَلُ وَأَنَا جَنْبَهُ كَيْفَ كَانَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ يَسِيرُ إِذَا دَفَعَ مِنْ عَرَفَةَ؟ قَالَ «كَانَ يَسِيرُ الْعَنَقَ فَإِذَا وَجَدَ فَجْوَةً نَصَّ وَالنَّصُّ فَوْقَ الْعَنَقِ»

✧ He heard Usama being asked while I was beside him: How did the Prophet ﷺ travel when he departed from Arafah? He said: "He would travel at a brisk pace (al-ʿanaq), and when he found an open space, he would urge his mount faster (nassa), and nass is above ʿanaq."
