أَخْبَرَنَا يَعْقُوبُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الدَّوْرَقِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى هُوَ الْقَطَّانُ عَنْ هِشَامٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ أُسَامَةَ بْنِ زَيْدٍ أَنَّهُ سُئِلَ

عَنْ مَسِيرِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ فِي حَجَّةِ الْوَدَاعِ فَقَالَ «كَانَ يَسِيرُ الْعَنَقَ فَإِذَا وَجَدَ فَجْوَةً نَصَّ وَالنَّصُّ فَوْقَ الْعَنَقِ»

✧ About the travel of the Prophet ﷺ during the Farewell Hajj, he said: "He would travel at a brisk pace (al-ʿanaq), and when he found an open space, he would urge his mount faster (nassa), and nass is above ʿanaq."
