✧ The place of prayer in the house

أَخْبَرَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ عَلِيٍّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ يَعْنِي الْقَطَّانَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا السَّائِبُ بْنُ عُمَرَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي ابْنُ أَبِي مُلَيْكَةَ أَنَّ ابْنَ عُمَرَ قَالَ

دَخَلَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ الْكَعْبَةَ وَدَنَا خُرُوجُهُ وَوَجَدْتُ شَيْئًا فَذَهَبْتُ وَجِئْتُ سَرِيعًا فَوَجَدْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ خَارِجًا فَسَأَلْتُ بِلَالًا هَلْ صَلَّى رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فِي الْكَعْبَةِ قَالَ «نَعَمْ رَكْعَتَيْنِ بَيْنَ السَّارِيَتَيْنِ»

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ entered the Kaʿbah, and his exit drew near, but I found something [to do], so I went and came back quickly, and I found the Messenger of Allah ﷺ coming out. I asked Bilal, “Did the Messenger of Allah ﷺ pray inside the Kaʿbah?” He said, “Yes, two units between the two columns.”
