أَخْبَرَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا اللَّيْثُ عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ
عَنْ جَابِرٍ أَنَّهُمْ كَانُوا إِذَا كَانُوا حَاضِرِينَ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ بِالْمَدِينَةِ «يَبْعَثُ بِالْهَدْيِ فَمَنْ شَاءَ أَحْرَمَ وَمَنْ شَاءَ تَرَكَ»

✧ From Jābir: that when they were present with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ in Madinah, he would send the hady; then whoever wished entered iḥrām, and whoever wished refrained.
