أَخْبَرَنَا يَعْقُوبُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الدَّوْرَقِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ عُلَيَّةَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامٌ الدَّسْتُوَائِيُّ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنِ أَبِي حَسَّانَ الْأَعْرَجِ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ لَمَّا أَتَى ذَا الْحُلَيْفَةِ «أَشْعَرَ الْهَدْيَ مِنْ جَانِبِ السَّنَامِ الْأَيْمَنِ ثُمَّ أَمَاطَ عَنْهُ الدَّمَ ثُمَّ قَلَّدَهُ نَعْلَيْنِ ثُمَّ رَكِبَ نَاقَتَهُ فَلَمَّا اسْتَوَتْ بِهِ عَلَى الْبَيْدَاءِ أَحْرَمَ وَأَحْرَمَ عِنْدَ الظُّهْرِ وَأَهَلَّ بِالْحَجِّ»

✧ When the Messenger of Allah ﷺ came to Dhū al-Ḥulayfah, he marked the hady on the right side of its hump, then wiped away the blood from it, then garlanded it with two sandals, then mounted his she-camel. When it stood upright with him on al-Baydāʾ, he entered iḥrām—and he entered iḥrām at noon—and pronounced the talbiyah for ḥajj.
