✧ Hajj on behalf of a deceased person who did not perform Hajj

أَخْبَرَنِي عُثْمَانُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ خُرَّزَاذَ أَنْطَاكِيٌّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ حَكِيمٍ الْأَوْدِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا حُمَيْدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرُّؤَاسِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ عَنْ أَيُّوبَ السَّخْتِيَانِيِّ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ يَسَارٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ

أَنَّ امْرَأَةً سَأَلَتِ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ عَنْ أَبِيهَا مَاتَ وَلَمْ يَحُجَّ قَالَ «حُجِّي عَنْ أَبِيكِ»

✧ A woman asked the Messenger of Allah ﷺ about her father who had died without performing Hajj. He said, “Perform Hajj on behalf of your father.”
