✧ The prohibition of killing

أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا يَعْلَى قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ عَنْ رِبْعِيٍّ عَنْ أَبِي بَكْرَةَ قَالَ

«إِذَا حَمَلَ الرَّجُلَانِ الْمُسْلِمَانِ السِّلَاحَ أَحَدُهُمَا عَلَى الْآخَرِ فَهُمَا عَلَى جُرُفِ النَّارِ فَإِذَا قَتَلَ أَحَدُهُمَا الْآخَرَ فَهُمَا فِي النَّارِ»

Translation

✧ When two Muslim men raise weapons against each other, they are on the brink of the Fire; and if one of them kills the other, they are both in the Fire.
