✧ The prohibition of killing

أَخْبَرَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ يَزِيدَ عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ التَّيْمِيِّ عَنْ الْحَسَنِ عَنْ أَبِي مُوسَى

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ «إِذَا تَوَاجَهَ الْمُسْلِمَانِ بِسَيْفَيْهِمَا فَقَتَلَ أَحَدُهُمَا صَاحِبَهُ فَهُمَا فِي النَّارِ» قِيلَ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ هَذَا الْقَاتِلُ فَمَا بَالُ الْمَقْتُولِ؟ قَالَ «أَرَادَ قَتْلَ صَاحِبِهِ»

✧ From the Prophet ﷺ: "When two Muslims face each other with their swords and one of them kills his companion, they are both in the Fire." It was said: "O Messenger of Allah, this is the killer, but what about the one killed?" He said: "He intended to kill his companion."
