أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْوَلِيدِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَوَانَةَ عَنْ سِمَاكٍ عَنِ ابْنِ أُمِّ هَانِئٍ عَنْ جَدَّتِهِ أُمِّ هَانِئٍ سَمِعَهُ مِنْهَا
أَنَّهَا قَالَتْ إِنَّ نَبِيَّ اللهِ ﷺ أُتِيَ بِشَرَابٍ يَوْمَ فَتْحِ مَكَّةَ فَشَرِبَ ثُمَّ نَاوَلَنِي فَشَرِبْتُ وَكُنْتُ صَائِمَةً وَكَرِهْتُ أَنْ أَرُدَّ فَضْلَ سُؤْرِهِ ﷺ فَقُلْتُ بِأَبِي أَنْتَ إِنِّي كُنْتُ صَائِمَةً قَالَ لَهَا «أَكُنْتِ قَضَيْتِ شَيْئًا؟» قَالَتْ لَا قَالَ «فَلَا يَضُرُّكِ»

✧ She said: The Prophet of God ﷺ was brought a drink on the day of the conquest of Makkah, and he drank. Then he handed it to me, and I drank. I was fasting, but I disliked rejecting the leftover of his ﷺ sipped drink. I said, "May my father be your ransom, I was fasting." He said to her, "Had you made up anything?" She said, "No." He said, "Then it does not harm you."
