أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنِ الْوَلِيدِ عَنِ ابْنِ نَمِرٍ وَاسْمُهُ عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ قَالَ
أَبُو عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ لَمْ يَرْوِ عَنْهُ غَيْرُ الْوَلِيدِ فِيمَا عَلِمْنَاهُ قَالَ الزُّهْرِيُّ وأَخْبَرَنِي سَعِيدُ بْنُ الْمُسَيِّبِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «إِذَا سُبَّ أَحَدُكُمْ وَهُوَ صَائِمٌ فَلْيَقُلْ إِنِّي صَائِمٌ» يَنْهَى بِذَلِكَ عَنْ مُرَاجَعَةِ الصَّائِمِ
Translation

✧ Abu Abd al-Rahman: No one narrated from him other than al-Walid as far as we know. Al-Zuhri said: And Sa'id b. al-Musayyib informed me from Abu Hurayrah who said: I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: "When one of you is insulted while fasting, let him say: 'I am fasting.'" By that he prohibits the fasting person from responding.
