✧ What the fasting person is ordered to abstain from in terms of indecent speech and noise

أَخْبَرَنَا هَنَّادُ بْنُ السَّرِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي بَكْرٍ عَنْ أَبِي حَصِينٍ وَاسْمُهُ عُثْمَانُ بْنُ عَاصِمٍ كُوفِيٌّ عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ

«إِذَا كَانَ يَوْمُ صَوْمِ أَحَدِكُمْ فَلَا يَرْفُثْ وَلَا يَجْهَلْ فَإِنْ جُهِلَ عَلَيْهِ فَلْيَقُلْ إِنِّي صَائِمٌ»

✧ "When it is the day of one of your fasting, he should not use obscene language or act ignorantly. If someone is ignorant towards him, let him say: 'I am fasting.'"
