أَخْبَرَنا زَكَرِيَّا بْنُ يَحْيَى قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي عُمَرَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ أَيُّوبَ عَنْ أَبِي قِلَابَةَ عَنْ شَدَّادِ بْنِ أَوْسٍ قَالَ
مَرَرْتُ مَعَ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ بِرَجُلٍ فِي الْبَقِيعِ وَهُوَ يَحْتَجِمُ يَوْمَ سَبْعَ عَشْرَةَ مِنْ رَمَضَانَ فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ «أَفْطَرَ الْحَاجِمُ وَالْمَحْجُومُ» وَرَوَاهُ دَاوُدُ بْنُ أَبِي هِنْدَ عَنْ أَبِي قِلَابَةَ عَلَى خِلَافِ رِوَايَةِ أَيُّوبَ

✧ I passed with the Prophet ﷺ by a man in al-Baqi' while he was being cupped on the seventeenth of Ramadan. The Prophet ﷺ said: "The cupper and the one cupped have broken their fast." Dawud b. Abi Hind narrated it from Abu Qilabah contrary to the narration of Ayyub.
