✧ In the fasting person, there is vomiting, and mentioning the disagreements about Yahya b. Abi Kathir in the narration of Thawban, the freed slave of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ , regarding that.

أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْوَارِثِ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَبِي يُحَدِّثُ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا حُسَيْنٌ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ أَنَّ عَبْدَ اللهِ بْنَ عَمْرٍو الْأَوْزَاعِيَّ حَدَّثَهُ أَنَّ يَعِيشَ بْنَ الْوَلِيدِ حَدَّثَهُ أَنَّ مَعْدَانَ بْنَ طَلْحَةَ حَدَّثَهُ أَنَّ أَبَا الدَّرْدَاءِ حَدَّثَهُ
أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ «قَاءَ فَأَفْطَرَ» فَلَقِيتُ ثَوْبَانَ فِي مَسْجِدِ دِمَشْقَ فَذَكَرْتُ ذَلِكَ لَهُ فَقَالَ صَدَقَ أَنَا صَبَبْتُ لَهُ وَضُوءَهُ قَالَ أَبُو عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ هَذَا خَطَأٌ وَهَكَذَا وَجَدْتُهُ فِي كِتَابِي هُوَ عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ عَمْرٍو الْأَوْزَاعِيُّ

✧ That the Prophet ﷺ vomited and broke his fast. Then I met Thawban in the mosque of Damascus and mentioned that to him. He said, 'He spoke the truth; I poured for him his ablution water.' Abu Abd al-Rahman said: This is a mistake, and thus I found it in my book: he is Abd al-Rahman b. Amr al-Awza'i.
