✧ In the fasting person, there is vomiting, and mentioning the disagreements about Yahya b. Abi Kathir in the narration of Thawban, the freed slave of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ , regarding that.

أَخْبَرَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ عَلِيٍّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْوَارِثِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي حُسَيْنٌ الْمُعَلِّمُ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي يَحْيَى بْنُ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي الْأَوْزَاعِيُّ عَنْ يَعِيشَ بْنِ الْوَلِيدِ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ مَعْدَانَ بْنِ طَلْحَةَ عَنْ أَبِي الدَّرْدَاءِ
عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ أَنَّهَ «قَاءَ فَأَفْطَرَ» فَلَقِيتُ ثَوْبَانَ فِي مَسْجِدِ دِمَشْقَ فَذَكَرْتُ ذَلِكَ لَهُ فَقَالَ صَدَقَ أَنَا صَبَبْتُ لَهُ وَضُوءَهُ قَالَ أَبُو عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الصَّوَابِ مَعْدَانُ بْنُ أَبِي طَلْحَةَ

✧ From the Prophet ﷺ that he vomited and broke his fast. Then I met Thawban in the mosque of Damascus and mentioned that to him. He said, 'He spoke the truth; I poured for him his ablution water.' Abu Abd al-Rahman said: The correct [narrator] is Ma'dan b. Abi Talhah.
