أَخْبَرَنَا الْقَاسِمُ بْنُ زَكَرِيَّا بْنِ دِينَارٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا حُسَيْنٌ عَنْ زَائِدَةَ عَنْ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ عَنْ عَطَاءٍ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ
كَانَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ «تُصِيبُهُ الْجَنَابَةُ مِنَ اللَّيْلِ وَهُوَ يُرِيدُ الصِّيَامَ فَيَنَامُ وَيَسْتَيْقِظُ وَيُصْبِحُ جُنُبًا فَيُفِيضُ عَلَيْهِ الْمَاءَ وَيُتِمُّ صِيَامَهُ»
Translation

✧ The Prophet ﷺ would become junub at night while intending to fast, then he would sleep, wake up, and reach the morning in a state of janabah, then he would pour water over himself and complete his fast.
