أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَسْبَاطٌ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ قَالَ قَالَ أَبُو هُرَيْرَةَ مَنْ أَدْرَكَ الصُّبْحُ وَهُوَ جُنُبٌ فَلْيُفْطِرْ فَفَظِعَ النَّاسُ مِنْ قَوْلِ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ وَأَرْسَلَ مَرْوَانُ وَهُوَ أَمِيرُ الْمَدِينَةِ عَبْدَ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنَ الْحَارِثِ بْنِ هِشَامٍ قَالَ اذْهَبْ إِلَى عَمَّتِكَ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ فَسَلْهَا
عَنْ هَذَا الْحَدِيثِ الَّذِي يُحَدِّثُ بِهِ أَبُو هُرَيْرَةَ فَجَاءَهَا فَذَكَرَ ذَلِكَ لَهَا فَقَالَتْ أَشْهَدُ عَلَى رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ لَكَانَ «يُصْبِحُ جُنُبًا مِنِّي ثُمَّ يَصُومُ وَيَأْمُرُ بِالصِّيَامِ فِي رَمَضَانَ» فَقَالَ مَرْوَانُ فَحَدِّثْهُ بِهَذَا الْحَدِيثِ الَّذِي حَدَّثَتْكَ أُمُّ سَلَمَةَ فَجَاءَهُ فَذَكَرَ ذَلِكَ لَهُ فَقَالَ أَبُو هُرَيْرَةَ حَدَّثَنَا فُلَانٌ وَنَزَعَ عَنْهُ خَالَفَهُ عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ فَرَوَاهُ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ حَاطِبٍ

✧ About this hadith that Abu Hurayrah narrated. He came to her and mentioned that to her, and she said, 'I bear witness that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ would enter the morning in a state of major ritual impurity from me, then he would fast and command fasting in Ramadan.' Marwan said, 'Then narrate to him this hadith that Umm Salamah narrated to you.' So he came to him and mentioned that to him, and Abu Hurayrah said, 'So-and-so narrated to us,' and he retracted from it. 'Abd al-'Aziz b. Muhammad differed with him, and narrated it from Muhammad b. 'Amr, from Yahya b. 'Abd al-Rahman b. Hatib.
