أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ حَفْصِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي إِبْرَاهِيمُ عَنِ الْحَجَّاجِ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنْ عَبْدِ رَبِّهِ عَنْ أَبِي عِيَاضٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ الْحَارِثِ بْنِ هِشَامٍ قَالَ
أَرْسَلَنِي مَرْوَانُ إِلَى عَائِشَةَ فَأَتَيْتُهَا فَلَقِيتُ غُلَامَهَا ذَكْوَانَ فَأَرْسَلْتُهُ إِلَيْهَا فسَأَلَهَا عَنْ ذَلِكَ فَقَالَتْ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «يُصْبِحُ جُنُبًا مِنْ جِمَاعٍ وَهُوَ صَائِمٌ ثُمَّ يَصُومُ وَلَا يُفْطِرُ» فَأَتَيْتُ مَرْوَانَ فَحَدَّثْتُهُ بِذَلِكَ فَأَرْسَلَنِي إِلَى أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ فَأَتَيْتُهَا فَلَقِيتُ غُلَامَهَا نَافِعًا فَأَرْسَلْتُهُ إِلَيْهَا فَسَأَلَهَا عَنْ ذَلِكَ فَقَالَتْ «كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يُصْبِحُ جُنُبًا وَهُوَ صَائِمٌ ثُمَّ يَصُومُ وَلَا يُفْطِرُ»

✧ Marwan sent me to 'A'ishah, so I came to her and met her servant Dhakwan, and I sent him to her, and he asked her about that. She said: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ 'would wake up in a state of major ritual impurity from intercourse while fasting, then continue fasting and not break his fast.' So I came to Marwan and narrated that to him. Then he sent me to Umm Salamah, so I came to her and met her servant Nafi', and I sent him to her, and he asked her about that. She said: 'The Messenger of Allah ﷺ would wake up in a state of major ritual impurity while fasting, then continue fasting and not break his fast.'
