al-Sunan al-Kubra (al-Nasa'i) 2951

✧ Fasting for those who wake up in a state of impurity, and mentioning the differences concerning Abu Huraira in that matter.

أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَهَّابِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدٌ عَنْ أَبِي قِلَابَةَ عَنْ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ «كَانَ يُصْبِحُ جُنُبًا مِنْ جِمَاعٍ ثُمَّ يَصُومُ» قَالَ أَبُو عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ خَالَفَهُمْ أَبُو عِيَاضٍ فَرَوَاهُ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ الْحَارِثِ أَنَّهُ أَرْسَلَ ذَكْوَانَ إِلَى عَائِشَةَ فَسَأَلَهَا وَنَافِعًا إِلَى أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ فَسَأَلَهَا فَرَجَعَا إِلَيْهِ فَأَخْبَرَاهُ

Translation

✧ That the Messenger of Allah ﷺ 'would wake up in a state of major ritual impurity from intercourse, then fast.' Abu 'Abd al-Rahman said: Abu 'Iyad contradicted them and narrated it from 'Abd al-Rahman b. al-Harith that he sent Dhakwan to 'A'ishah, and he asked her, and Nafi' to Umm Salamah, and he asked her, and they returned to him and informed him.
