أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ عُلَيَّةَ عَنْ مَنْصُورِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ عَنْ عَلْقَمَةَ قَالَ

«أَتَيْتُ ابْنَ مَسْعُودٍ فِيمَا بَيْنَ رَمَضَانَ إِلَى رَمَضَانَ مَا مِنْ يَوْمٍ إِلَّا آتِيهِ فِيهِ فَمَا رَأَيْتُهُ فِي يَوْمٍ صَائِمًا إِلَّا يَوْمَ عَاشُورَاءَ»

✧ "I came to Ibn Mas'ud between Ramadan and the next Ramadan. There was no day except that I came to him on it, and I did not see him fasting any day except the day of Ashura."
