أَخْبَرَنَا يَعْقُوبُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي زُبَيْدٌ عَنْ عُمَارَةَ بْنِ عُمَيْرٍ عَنْ قَيْسِ بْنِ السَّكَنِ أَنَّ الْأَشْعَثَ بْنَ قَيْسٍ دَخَلَ عَلَى عَبْدِ اللهِ يَوْمَ عَاشُورَاءَ وَهُوَ يَأْكُلُ فَقَالَ ادْنُ فَكُلْ قَالَ إِنِّي صَائِمٌ قَالَ

«كُنَّا نَصُومُهُ ثُمَّ تُرِكَ»
