✧ The fasting of the Day of Arafah and the virtue in it, and the mention of the differences among the narrators of the hadith of Abu Qatadah regarding it.

أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ الْمُقْرِئُ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ دَاوُدَ عَنْ أَبِي قَزَعَةَ عَنْ أَبِي الْخَلِيلِ عَنْ أَبِي حَرْمَلَةَ عَنْ أَبِي قَتَادَةَ

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ «صَوْمُ يَوْمِ عَاشُورَاءَ يُكَفِّرُ السَّنَةَ وَصَوْمُ يَوْمِ عَرَفَةَ يُكَفِّرُ سَنَةً وَالَّتِي تَلِيهَا» 2817 أَخْبَرَنَا مَسْعُودُ بْنُ جُوَيْرِيَةَ الْمُوصِلِيُّ وَالْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ عِيسَى وَهَارُونُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ قَالُوا حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ دَاوُدَ بْنِ شَابُورٍ عَنْ أَبِي قَزَعَةَ عَنْ أَبِي الْخَلِيلِ عَنْ أَبِي حَرْمَلَةَ عَنْ أَبِي قَتَادَةَ وَقَالَ هَارُونُ فِي حَدِيثِهِ سَمِعْنَاهُ مِنْ دَاوُدَ
