أَخْبَرَنَا نَصْرُ بْنُ عَلِيِّ بْنِ نَصْرٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ الْأَعْلَى قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مَعْمَرٌ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ عُرْوَةَ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ

أَقْسَمَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ لَا يَدْخُلُ عَلَى نِسَائِهِ شَهْرًا فَلَبِثَ تِسْعًا وَعِشْرِينَ فَقُلْتُ أَلَيْسَ قَدْ كُنْتَ آلَيْتَ شَهْرًا فَعَدَدْتُ الْأَيَّامَ تِسْعًا وَعِشْرِينَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «الشَّهْرُ تِسْعٌ وَعِشْرُونَ»

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ swore not to enter upon his wives for a month, and he stayed away for twenty-nine. I said, "Did you not swear a month? I counted the days, and it is twenty-nine." The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "The month is twenty-nine."
