✧ The removal of the dead from the grave after they have been placed

أَخْبَرَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ حُرَيْثٍ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا الْفَضْلُ بْنُ مُوسَى عَنِ الْحُسَيْنِ بْنِ وَاقِدٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ دِينَارٍ قَالَ

سَمِعْتُ جَابِرًا يَقُولُ إِنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ «أَمَرَ بِعَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ أُبَيٍّ فَأُخْرِجَ مِنْ قَبْرِهِ فَوَضَعَ رَأْسَهُ عَلَى رُكْبَتَيْهِ فَتَفَلَ فِيهِ مِنْ رِيقِهِ وَأَلْبَسَهُ قَمِيصَهُ» قَالَ جَابِرٌ وَاللهُ أَعْلَمُ

✧ I heard Jabir saying: The Prophet ﷺ “ordered regarding Abdullah b. Ubayy, so he was brought out of his grave and he placed his head on his knees and spat on him some of his saliva and dressed him in his shirt.” Jabir said: And Allah knows best.
