✧ The removal of the dead from the grave after they have been placed

الْحَارِثُ بْنُ مِسْكِينٍ قِرَاءَةً عَلَيْهِ وَأنا أَسْمَعُ عَنْ سُفْيَانَ قَالَ

سَمِعَ عَمْرٌو جَابِرًا يَقُولُ أَتَى النَّبِيُّ ﷺ عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ أُبَيٍّ بَعْدَمَا أُدْخِلَ حُفْرَتَهُ «فَأَمَرَ بِهِ فَأُخْرِجَ فَوَضَعَهُ عَلَى رُكْبَتَيْهِ وَنَفَثَ عَلَيْهِ مِنْ رِيقِهِ وَأَلْبَسَهُ قَمِيصَهُ» وَاللهُ أَعْلَمُ

Translation

✧ Amr heard Jabir saying: The Prophet ﷺ came to Abdullah b. Ubayy after he had been placed in his pit. “He ordered that he be brought out, and he placed him on his knees and blew on him some of his saliva and dressed him in his shirt.” And Allah knows best.
