أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدٌ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ الْقَاسِمِ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ

أَنَّ امْرَأَةً مُسْتَحَاضَةً عَلَى عَهْدِ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ قِيلَ لَهَا إِنَّهُ عِرْقُ عَانِدٌ وَأُمِرَتْ أَنْ تُؤَخِّرَ الظُّهْرَ وَتُعَجِّلَ الْعَصْرَ وَتَغْتَسِلَ لَهُمَا غُسْلًا وَاحِدًا وَتُؤَخِّرَ الْمَغْرِبَ وَتُعَجِّلَ الْعِشَاءَ وَتَغْتَسِلَ لَهُمَا غُسْلًا وَاحِدًا وَتَغْتَسِلَ لِصَلَاةِ الصُّبْحِ غُسْلًا وَاحِدًا

✧ A woman suffering from prolonged uterine bleeding (istihadah) during the time of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ was told that it was a stubborn vein, and she was commanded to delay Zuhr and hasten Asr, and perform a single ghusl for both; to delay Maghrib and hasten Isha, and perform a single ghusl for both; and to perform a single ghusl for the Fajr prayer.
