الْحَارِثُ بْنُ مِسْكِينٍ قِرَاءَةً عَلَيْهِ وَأَنَا أَسْمَعُ عَنِ ابْنِ وَهْبٍ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي ذِئْبٍ وَيُونُسَ عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي عَبَّادُ بْنُ تَمِيمٍ
أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ عَمَّهُ وَكَانَ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «خَرَجَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يَوْمًا يَسْتَسْقِي فَحَوَّلَ إِلَى النَّاسِ ظَهْرَهُ يَدْعُو اللهَ وَاسْتَقْبَلَ الْقِبْلَةَ وَحَوَّلَ رِدَاءَهُ ثُمَّ صَلَّى رَكْعَتَيْنِ» قَالَ ابْنُ أَبِي ذِئْبٍ فِي الْحَدِيثِ وَقَرَأَ فِيهِمَا

✧ He heard his uncle, who was one of the companions of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, say: "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ went out one day to seek rain. He turned his back to the people, supplicating to Allah, faced the qiblah, turned his cloak inside out, then prayed two rak'ahs." Ibn Abi Dhi'b said in the hadith: "And he recited aloud in them."
