أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ الْحَارِثِ أَنَّ أَبَا عُشَّانَةَ الْمَعَافِرِيَّ حَدَّثَهُ عَنْ عُقْبَةَ بْنِ عَامِرٍ قَالَ
سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ يَعْجَبُ رَبُّكَ مِنْ رَاعِي غَنَمٍ فِي رَأْسِ الشَّظِيَّةِ لِلْجَبَلِ يُؤَذِّنُ بِالصَّلَاةِ وَيُصَلِّي فَيَقُولُ اللهُ انْظُرُوا إِلَى عَبْدِي هَذَا يُؤَذِّنُ وَيُقِيمُ لِلصَّلَاةِ يَخَافُ مِنِّي قَدْ غَفَرْتُ لِعَبْدِي وَأَدْخَلْتُهُ الْجَنَّةَ

✧ "I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: 'Your Lord marvels at a shepherd of sheep on a mountain peak who gives the adhan for prayer and prays. Allah says, "Look at this servant of Mine; he gives the adhan and the iqamah for prayer, fearing Me. I have forgiven My servant and admitted him to Paradise."'"
