أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ الْقَاسِمِ عَنْ مَالِكٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبِي صَعْصَعَةَ الْأَنْصَارِيُّ ثُمَّ الْمَازِنِيُّ عَنْ أَبِيهِ أَنَّهُ أَخْبَرَهُ أَنَّ أَبَا سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيَّ قَالَ
لَهُ «إِنِّي أَرَاكَ تُحِبُ الْغَنَمِ وَالْبَادِيَةِ فَإِذَا كُنْتَ فِي غَنَمِكَ أَوْ بَادِيَتِكَ فَأَذَّنْتَ بِالصَّلَاةِ فَارْفَعْ صَوْتَكَ فَإِنَّهُ لَا يَسْمَعُ مَدَى صَوْتِ الْمُؤَذِّنَ جِنٌّ وَلَا إِنْسٌ وَلَا شَيْءٌ إِلَّا شَهِدَ لَهُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ» قَالَ أَبُو سَعِيدٍ سَمِعَتْهُ مِنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ

✧ He said to him, “I see that you love sheep and the countryside. When you are among your sheep or in the countryside and you give the adhan for prayer, raise your voice, for no jinn, human, or anything else hears the reach of the muezzin’s voice except that it will testify for him on the Day of Resurrection.” Abu Saʿid said, “I heard it from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ.”
