✧ A man came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and asked him about the time of prayer. He said: "Stay with us these two days." He ordered Bilal, and he made the call to prayer at dawn, and he prayed Fajr. Then he ordered him when the sun had declined, and he prayed Zuhr. Then he ordered him when he saw the sun white, and he made the call for 'Asr. Then he ordered him when the edge of the sun had set, and he made the call for Maghrib. Then he ordered him when the twilight had disappeared, and he made the call for 'Isha. Then the next day he ordered him, and he made the Fajr prayer at first light. Then he delayed Zuhr, and he was generous in delaying it. Then he prayed 'Asr while the sun was white, and he delayed it beyond that. Then he prayed Maghrib before the twilight disappeared. Then he ordered him, and he made the call for 'Isha when a third of the night had passed, and he prayed it. Then he said: "Where is the one asking about the time of prayer? The time of your prayers is between what you have seen."
