أَخْبَرَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ حُرَيْثٍ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا الْفَضْلُ بْنُ مُوسَى عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «هَذَا جِبْرِيلُ جَاءَكُمْ يُعَلِّمُكُمْ دِينَكُمْ فَصَلَّى لَهُ الْعِشَاءَ حِينَ ذَهَبَ شَفَقُ اللَّيْلِ ثُمَّ جَاءَهُ الْغَدَ فَصَلَّى ثُمَّ صَلَّى الْعِشَاءَ حِينَ ذَهَبَ سَاعَةٌ مِنَ اللَّيْلِ مُخْتَصَرٌ»

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "This is Jibril, he has come to teach you your religion." So he prayed 'Isha for him when the twilight of the night had disappeared. Then he came to him the next day and prayed, and he prayed 'Isha when an hour of the night had passed. Abbreviated.
