أَخْبَرَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ عَلِيٍّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ الْمُغِيرَةِ عَنْ ثَابِتٍ عَنْ أَنَسٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي مَحْمُودُ بْنُ الرَّبِيعِ عَنْ عِتْبَانَ فَلَقِيتُ عِتْبَانَ فَحَدَّثَنِي بِهِ

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ «لَيْسَ أَحَدٌ يَشْهَدُ أَنْ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللهُ فَتَأْكُلُهُ النَّارُ أَوْ تَطْعَمُهُ النَّارُ » قَالَ أَنَسٌ فَأَعْجَبَنِي هَذَا فَقُلْتُ لِابْنِي اكْتُبْهُ

Translation

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: There is no one who bears witness that there is no god but Allah and the Fire consumes him or the Fire tastes him. Anas said: This pleased me, so I said to my son: Write it down.
