أَخْبَرَنَا سُوَيْدُ بْنُ نَصْرٍ أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ أَخْبَرَنِي مَحْمُودُ بْنُ الرَّبِيعِ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ عِتْبَانَ بْنَ مَالِكٍ يَقُولُ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ لَنْ يُوَافِيَ عَبْدٌ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ وَهُوَ يَقُولُ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللهُ يَبْتَغِي بِذَلِكَ وَجْهَ اللهِ ﷻ إِلَّا حَرَّمَ اللهُ عَلَيْهِ النَّارَ

Translation

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: No servant will come on the Day of Resurrection saying: There is no god but Allah, seeking thereby the Face of Allah ﷻ, except that Allah will forbid the Fire to him.
