Sūrat al-Jāthiyah

أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ سَعِيدٍ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ لَا تَسُبُّوا الدَّهْرَ فَإِنَّ اللهَ هُوَ الدَّهْرُ قَالَ اللهُ يُؤْذِينِي ابْنُ آدَمَ يَسُبُّ الدَّهْرَ وَأَنَا الدَّهْرُ بِيَدِي الْخَيْرُ أُقَلِّبُ اللَّيْلَ وَالنَّهَارَ

Translation

✧ The Prophet ﷺ said: Do not revile time, for Allah is time. Allah said: The son of Adam hurts Me by reviling time, and I am time. In My hand is good; I alternate the night and the day.
