أَخْبَرَنَا وَهْبُ بْنُ بَيَانٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا يُونُسُ عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي أَبُو سَلَمَةَ قَالَ قَالَ أَبُو هُرَيْرَةَ

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ قَالَ اللهُ يَسُبُّ ابْنُ آدَمَ الدَّهْرَ وَأَنَا الدَّهْرُ بِيَدِي اللَّيْلُ وَالنَّهَارُ

✧ I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: Allah said: The son of Adam reviles time, and I am time. In My hand are the night and the day.
