أَخْبَرَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ مُوسَى قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي عَنْ مُطَرِّفٍ عَنْ جَعْفَرٍ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ فِي هَذِهِ الْآيَةِ {§أَفَرَأَيْتَ مَنِ اتَّخَذَ إِلَهَهُ هَوَاهُ} [الجاثية 23] قَالَ
كَانَ أَحَدُهُمْ يَعْبُدُ الْحَجَرَ فَإِذَا رَأَى مَا هُوَ أَحْسَنُ مِنْهُ رَمَى بِهِ وَعَبْدَ الْآخَرَ
Translation
