أَخْبَرَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «لَلَّهُ أَفْرَحُ بِتَوْبَةِ عَبْدِهِ مِنْ أَحَدِكِمْ قَدْ أَضَلَّ رَاحِلَتَهُ فِي أَرْضٍ مَهْلَكَةٍ يَخَافُ أَنْ يَقْتُلَهُ الْجُوعُ»

Translation

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: “Allah is more pleased with the repentance of His servant than one of you who has lost his mount in a desolate land, fearing that hunger will kill him.”
