أَخْبَرَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ آدَمَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ عَيَّاشٍ عَنْ حُصَينٍ عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ
أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ كَانَ يُصَلِّي فَأَتَاهُ الشَّيْطَانُ فَأَخَذَهُ فَصَرَعَهُ فَخَنَقَهُ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «حَتَّى وَجَدْتُ بَرْدَ لِسَانِهِ عَلَى يَدِي وَلَوْلَا دَعْوَةُ أَخِي سُلَيْمَانَ عَلَيْهِ السَّلَامُ لَأَصْبَحَ مُوثَقًا حَتَّى يَرَاهُ النَّاسُ»

✧ The Prophet ﷺ was praying when Satan came to him, seized him, threw him down, and choked him. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, “Until I felt the coldness of his tongue on my hand. Were it not for the supplication of my brother Solomon ﷺ, he would have been tied up and seen by the people.”
