أَخْبَرَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا حَجَّاجُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ عُمَرَ بْنِ ذَرٍّ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ سَجَدَ فِي ص وَقَالَ «سَجَدَهَا دَاوُدُ عَلَيْهِ السَّلَامُ تَوْبَةً وَنَسْجُدُهَا شُكْرًا»

Translation

  3. ʿUmar b. Dhar from his father
  4. Saʿīd b. Jubayr
  5. Ibn ʿAbbās

✧ The Prophet ﷺ prostrated in Sad, and he said, “David ﷺ prostrated it in repentance, and we prostrate it in gratitude.”
