أَخْبَرَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللهِ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ حَدَّثَنَا مُعَاذُ بْنُ هِشَامٍ حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيِّبِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «إِنَّ اللهَ أَطْعَمَنَا الْغَنَائِمَ رَحْمَةً رَحِمَنَا بِهَا وَتَخْفِيفًا وَخَفَّفَ عَنَّا لِمَا عَلِمَ مِنْ ضَعْفِنَا»

Translation

✧ The Messenger of God ﷺ said, "God has fed us booty as a mercy by which He had mercy on us and as a lightening, and He lightened it for us because He knew our weakness."
