أَخْبَرَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ عَلِيٍّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ عَنْ مُسْلِمٍ عَنْ مَسْرُوقٍ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ كَانَ يُعَوِّذُ بَعْضَ أَهْلِهِ يَمْسَحُ بِيَدِهِ وَيَقُولُ «اللهُمَّ رَبَّ النَّاسِ أَذْهِبِ الْبَأْسَ وَاشْفِ أَنْتَ الشَّافِي لَا شِفَاءَ إِلَّا شِفَاءَكَ شِفَاءً لَا يُغَادِرُ سَقَمًا» قَالَ سُفْيَانُ فَحَدَّثْتُهُ مَنْصُورًا فَحَدَّثَنِي عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ مَسْرُوقٍ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ بِنَحْوِهِ

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to seek protection for some of his family, wiping with his hand and saying: “O Allah, Lord of the people, remove the hardship and heal, for You are the Healer; there is no healing but Your healing, a healing that leaves no sickness.” Sufyan said: I narrated it to Mansur, and he narrated to me from Ibrahim, from Masruq, from ‘A’ishah something similar.
