أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ الْمُقْرِئُ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنِ ابْنِ عَجْلَانَ عَنْ سَعِيدٍ عَنْ صَيْفِيٍّ مَوْلَى أَبِي السَّائِبِ أَنَّ أَبَا سَعِيدٍ قَالَ
قَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ «إِنَّ بِالْمَدِينَةِ نَفَرًا مِنَ الْجِنِّ مُسْلِمِينَ فَإِذَا رَأَيْتُمْ مِنْ هَؤُلَاءِ الْعَوَامِرِ شَيْئًا فَآذِنُوهُ ثَلَاثًا فَإِنْ ظَهَرَ لَكُمْ بَعْدُ فَاقْتُلُوهُ» مُخْتَصَرٌ [356] خَالَفَهُ اللَّيْثُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ وَيَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ

✧ The Prophet ﷺ said: “There are in Madinah a group of jinn who are Muslims. When you see anything of these dwellers, give it notice three times. If it still appears to you after that, then kill it.” Abridged. [356] Al-Layth b. Sa'd and Yahya b. Sa'id differed from him.
