أَخْبَرَنِي عَمْرُو بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا الْحَجَّاجُ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ عَنْ أَشْعَثَ وَأَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا الْأَشْعَثُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنْ أَبِي قِلَابَةَ عَنْ أَبِي الْأَشْعَثِ الصَّنْعَانِيِّ عَنِ النُّعْمَانِ بْنِ بَشِيرٍ
عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ وَقَالَ عَمْرُو إِنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ «إِنَّ اللهَ كَتَبَ كِتَابًا قَبْلَ أَنْ يَخْلُقَ السَّمَوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضَ بِأَلْفَيْ عَامٍ فَأَنْزَلَ مِنْهُ آيَتَيْنِ خَتَمَ بِهِمَا سُورَةَ الْبَقَرَةِ فَلَا تُقْرَآنِ فِي دَارٍ ثَلَاثَ لَيَالٍ فَيَقْرَبُهَا شَيْطَانٌ»

✧ From the Prophet ﷺ, and Amr said: The Messenger of God ﷺ said: “God wrote a Book two thousand years before He created the heavens and the earth, and He sent down from it two verses with which He sealed Surah al-Baqarah. They are not recited in a house for three nights but that a devil comes near it.”
