أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ رَافِعٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا حُسَيْنُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ عَنْ زَائِدَةَ عَنْ عَاصِمٍ عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ قَامَ فِينَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ فَقَالَ
قَامَ فِينَا رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ عَامَ أَوَّلَ كَقِيَامِي فِيكُمْ فَقَالَ «إِنَّ النَّاسَ لَمْ يُعْطَوْا شَيْئًا هُوَ أَفْضَلُ مِنَ الْعَفْوِ وَالْعَافِيَةِ فَسَلُوهُمَا اللهَ» 10657 وَأَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ رَافِعٍ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا حُسَيْنُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ عَنْ زَائِدَةَ عَنْ عَاصِمٍ عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ قَالَ قَامَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ عَلَى الْمِنْبَرِ نَحْوَهُ حَدَّثَنَا بِهِ مَرَّتَيْنِ مَرَّةً هَكَذَا وَمَرَّةً هَكَذَا
Translation

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ stood among us last year, just as I am standing among you, and said, "Verily, people have not been given anything better than pardon and well-being, so ask Allah for them." 10657 And Muhammad b. Rafi' informed us, he said: Husayn b. 'Ali informed us, from Za'idah, from 'Asim, from Abu Salih, who said: Abu Bakr stood on the minbar, and he narrated something similar to us twice: once like this and once like this.
