أَخْبَرَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْعَلَاءِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا الْأَعْمَشُ عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ عَنْ أَبِي عُبَيْدَةَ قَالَ
سُئِلَ عَبْدُ اللهِ مَا الدُّعَاءُ الَّذِي دَعَوْتَ بِهِ لَيْلَةَ قَالَ لَكَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «سَلْ تُعْطَهْ» قَالَ قُلْتُ اللهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ إِيمَانًا لَا يَرْتَدُّ وَنَعِيمًا لَا يَنْفَدُ وَمُرَافَقَةَ نَبِيِّنَا مُحَمَّدٍ ﷺ فِي أَعَلَى دَرَجَةِ الْجَنَّةِ جَنَّةِ الْخُلْدِ
Translation

✧ Abdullah was asked: 'What supplication did you make on the night when the Messenger of Allah ﷺ told you, "Ask and you will be given"?' He said: 'I said: O Allah, I ask You for faith that does not waver, bliss that does not end, and companionship with our Prophet Muhammad ﷺ in the highest degree of Paradise, the Garden of Eternity.'
