أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَمْرِو بْنِ السَّرْحِ فِي حَدِيثِهِ عَنِ ابْنِ وَهْبٍ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي عَمْرُو بْنُ الْحَارِثِ أَنَّ دَرَّاجًا أَبَا السَّمْحِ حَدَّثَهُ عَنْ أَبِي الْهَيْثَمِ عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ
عَنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ قَالَ مُوسَى يَا رَبِّ عَلِّمْنِي شَيْئًا أَذْكُرُكَ بِهِ وَأَدْعُوكَ بِهِ قَالَ يَا مُوسَى لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللهُ قَالَ مُوسَى يَا رَبِّ كُلُّ عِبَادِكَ يَقُولُ هَذَا قَالَ قُلْ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللهُ قَالَ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ إِنَّمَا أُرِيدُ شَيْئًا تَخُصَّنِي بِهِ قَالَ يَا مُوسَى لَوْ أَنَّ السَّمَوَاتِ السَّبْعَ وَعَامِرَهُنَّ غَيْرِي وَالْأَرَضِينَ السَّبْعَ فِي كَفَّةٍ وَلَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللهُ فِي كَفَّةٍ مَالَتْ بِهِنَّ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللهُ

✧ From the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, he said: Musa said: O Lord, teach me something by which I may remember You and call upon You. He said: O Musa, say La ilaha illa Allah. Musa said: O Lord, all Your servants say this. He said: Say La ilaha illa Allah. He said: La ilaha illa Anta; I only want something that You single me out with. He said: O Musa, if the seven heavens and their inhabitants other than Me, and the seven earths, were in one pan of a scale, and La ilaha illa Allah were in the other pan, La ilaha illa Allah would outweigh them.
