أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا الْعَوَّامُ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي عَمْرُو بْنُ مُرَّةَ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبِي لَيْلَى عَنْ عَلِيٍّ قَالَ
أَتَى رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ حَتَّى وَضَعَ قَدَمَهُ بَيْنِي وَبَيْنَ فَاطِمَةَ فَعَلَّمَنَا مَا نَقُولُ إِذَا أَخَذْنَا مَضَاجِعَنَا «ثَلَاثًا وَثَلَاثِينَ تَسْبِيحَةً وَثَلَاثًا وَثَلَاثِينَ تَحْمِيدَةً وَأَرْبَعًا وَثَلَاثِينَ تَكْبِيرَةً» قَالَ عَلِيٌّ فَمَا تَرَكْتُهَا بَعْدُ قَالَ لَهُ رَجُلٌ وَلَا لَيْلَةَ صَفَّيْنَ؟ قَالَ وَلَا لَيْلَةَ صَفَّيْنَ

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ came until he placed his foot between me and Fatimah, and he taught us what to say when we lie down: “Thirty-three glorifications, thirty-three praises, and thirty-four magnifications.” Ali said: I have not abandoned it since. A man said to him: Not even on the night of Siffin? He said: Not even on the night of Siffin.
