أَخْبَرَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ عَلِيٍّ عَنْ أَبِي دَاوُدَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ عَنْ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ عُمَارَةَ بْنِ أَبِي حَسَنٍ الْمَازِنِيِّ عَنْ عَمِّهِ
أَنَّ النَّاسَ سَأَلُوا رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ عَنِ الْوَسْوَسَةِ الَّتِي يَجِدُهَا أَحَدُهُمْ لَأَنْ يَسْقُطَ مِنْ عِنْدِ الثُّرَيَّا أَحَبُّ إِلَيْهِ مِنْ أَنْ يَتَكَلَّمَ بِهِ؟ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «ذَاكَ صَرِيحُ الْإِيمَانِ إِنَّ الشَّيْطَانَ يَأْتِي الْعَبْدَ فِيمَا دُونَ ذَلِكَ فَإِذَا عُصِمَ مِنْهُ وَقَعَ فِيمَا هُنَالِكَ» [251] 10440 عَنْ هِلَالِ بْنِ الْعَلَاءِ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ الْمُعْتَمِرِ بْنِ سُلَيْمَانَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ الْمُغِيرَةِ عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ يَزِيدَ النَّخَعِيِّ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ أَنَّ رَجُلًا ذَكَرَ لَهَا الْوَسْوَسَةَ يَجِدُهَا

✧ The people asked the Messenger of Allah ﷺ about the whisperings that one of them finds, such that falling from the Pleiades would be dearer to him than to speak of it. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "That is pure faith. The devil comes to the servant in matters less than that, but when he is protected from him, he falls into what is there."
