أَخْبَرَنَا حُمَيْدُ بْنُ مَخْلَدٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يُوسُفَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا يُونُسُ بْنُ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ سَعْدٍ قَالَ
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ دَعْوَةُ ذِي النُّونِ إِذْ دَعَا بِهَا وَهُوَ فِي بَطْنِ الْحُوتِ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ سُبْحَانَكَ إِنِّي كُنْتُ مِنَ الظَّالِمِينَ فَإِنَّهُ لَنْ يَدْعُوَ بِهَا مُسْلِمٌ فِي شَيْءٍ قَطُّ إِلَّا اسْتَجَابَ لَهُ

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: “The supplication of Dhu al-Nun when he called out while in the belly of the whale: ‘There is no god but You, glory be to You, I was indeed among the wrongdoers.’ No Muslim ever calls upon Allah with it concerning anything but He answers him.”
