أَخْبَرَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ أَبِي رَافِعٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ جَعْفَرٍ أَنَّهُ زَوَّجَ ابْنَتَهُ مِنَ الْحَجَّاجِ بْنِ يُوسُفَ فَقَالَ
لَهَا إِذَا دَخَلَ بِكِ فَقُولِي «لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللهُ الْحَلِيمُ الْكَرِيمُ سُبْحَانَ اللهِ رَبِّ الْعَرْشِ الْعَظِيمِ الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ» وَزَعَمَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ كَانَ إِذَا حَزَبَهُ أَمْرٌ قَالَ هَذَا

✧ To her, when he consummates the marriage with you, then say: 'There is no god but Allah, the Forbearing, the Generous. Glory be to Allah, Lord of the Mighty Throne. Praise be to Allah, Lord of the Worlds.' And he claimed that when some matter distressed the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, he would say this.
